Troy Deck – Founder, CEO

Troy DeckMr. Deck has more than 20 years of experience in developing high-level information systems. He pioneered several high security banking systems used throughout the world and in the recent past, created one of the first subscription-based E-zines. Mr. Deck led the successful development effort to extend GENEVA technology to client-server.

 

Geoffrey Stengel. Jr. – Chairman, CFO

Geoffrey StengelAs the Chairman and Chief Financial Officer, Geoffrey Stengel is responsible for ultimately achieving the company’s financial goals and maximizing its profitability/efficiency. He brings over 40 years of experience to the company and began serving as CFO when Wingspan was founded in 1996.

Prior to joining Wingspan, Mr. Stengel served for over 24 years as President of a local environmental treatment and recycling firm. Earlier in his career he worked in the foreign banking industry and later went on to assist in the development of one of the country’s first shared ATM networks. Mr. Stengel is often remembered for his experience as former Pennsylvania Secretary of Commerce during the early 1980s.

Geoffrey Stengel graduated from Princeton University and holds a BA in Political Science.

Rose Volpe – Director of Administration

Rose VolpeAs the Director of Operations, Rose is responsible for managing and overseeing the daily activities of the organization, as well as reporting to the Chief Executive Officer. She brings over 20 years of experience in finance and other industries.

Prior to joining Wingspan, Rose spent 11 years at Envirite Corporation managing over $5 million in accounts receivables.

Rose Volpe graduated from Holy Family College and Bucks County College with degrees in Psychology and Accounting, respectively.

William C. Morley – Director of Life Sciences

Bill MorleyAs Director of Life Sciences, Bill is responsible for content management and collaboration, business process analysis and design, project management, technology trend analysis, product evaluation, and architecture design and implementation. He brings over 25 years of experience in project, people, and technical leadership, covering a broad range of technologies and business processes.

Prior to joining Wingspan, Bill spent 20 years at Merck working primarily on validated content management and collaboration applications for the Clinical and Regulatory departments. Bill was also a key architect in many of Merck’s content management and collaboration solutions including Documentum, InputAccel and SharePoint. Bill also worked at EMC as a Solutions Architect in the professional services organization providing project and program management for a variety of customers including Cephalon, FINRA, VSE and the World Bank.

William C. Morley graduated from Spring Garden College and holds a BS in Computer Science.

Robert Ganski – Life Sciences Solutions Architect

Bob GanskiAs the Life Sciences Solutions Architect, Robert is responsible for performing product comparisons and evaluations for clients in both imaging applications and SharePoint/Documentum integrations. He is also in charge of implementing Trial Master File applications for multiple clients to input, store, manage, and track essential documents.

He brings over 16 years of experience designing and developing Document Management and Imaging applications/products for numerous pharmaceutical and biotechnology companies. His area of expertise is in the Clinical Trial Management area with a specialization in the integration of imaging applications with Document Management solutions.

Robert Ganski graduated from Wilkes University and holds a BS in Computer Science.

Rob Deming, Director

Rob DemingAs Director, Rob develops Wingspan’s business strategy in the area of cloud computing-based products and services for the Pharmaceutical sector. He brings over 25 years of industry knowledge and experience to the Wingspan team, specializing in computing technology and project management.

Prior to joining Wingspan Technology, Rob held both IT and management positions at top pharmaceutical companies including Merck, GlaxoSmithKline and AstraZeneca. Rob also is Six Sigma Certified and has a Project Management Professional Certification from the Project Management Institute.

Mr. Rob Deming graduated with Masters Degrees from both Villanova University and The University of Pennsylvania.

Kathie Clark, Director

 Kathie Clark, Director of Product Management for the Life Sciences, oversees the development of the Wingspan eTMF and other Wingspan products servicing the Life Sciences and Pharmaceutical industries.  With over 20 years of experience as an information technology professional in Life Sciences and Medical Devices, Kathie assists Wingspan in product management, marketing and business development.

Prior to joining Wingspan, Kathie served as Directory of Product Management at NextDocs and Directory of Professional Services at GlobalSubmit.  Her years at First Consulting Group also add to her in-depth expertise in the field.

Ms. Clark graduated with honors from The Pennsylvania State University with the following degrees: Master of Engineering, Engineering Science and Bachelor of Science, Industrial Engineering.

Dave Urban, Director of Cloud Services

 As Director of Cloud Services, Dave is responsible for managing our cloud offering, driving our operational direction, and maintaining our entire infrastructure.  Dave brings 25 years of IT experience to the organization with 15 years focused on managing enterprise level infrastructures and their support teams.  These teams were responsible for the SaaS (software as a service) offering for high traffic websites ensuring 24x7x365 availability and uptime requirements of 99.99%.  He has worked extensively with cloud technology architecting solutions, which improved website availability and stabilized  functionality by systematically expanding the infrastructure to address demand peaks.

Prior to joining Wingspan Technology, Dave spent 15 years at a Director level position within different organizations managing their IT environments and developing high performance support teams.  He is well schooled on the foundation of ITIL V3 and the essentials within the CISSP program, having successful tested through each of these areas.  His experience has led organizational PCI certification and successful Sarbanes Oxley compliance audits.

Dave graduated from Washington International University and holds a BS in Engineering.

Marc Shive, Director of Software Quality Assurance and Testing

 As Director of Software Quality Assurance and Testing, Marc is responsible for the growth and development of the Wingspan QA and Testing processes and methodology.  He brings 15+ years of QA and Testing experience, possessing a keen insight into QA and SDLC processes and their interrelated dependencies.

Prior to joining Wingspan, Marc spent over 10 years with TEKsystems Global Services as a Sr. Consultant / QA Solutions Architect.  He has helped numerous organizations define and implement software quality assurance programs.  Additional experience includes leadership of QA and Testing functions at De Lage Landen and VerticalNet.

Marc Shive graduated from the Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University (Virginia Tech) and holds a BS in Computer Engineering

Martin Snyder – Principal Technologist

Martin SnyderAs a Principal Technologist for DocWay products, Martin is responsible for managing our software development group. He brings over 16 years of experience in enterprise application stacks, Documentum integration, and software development for global enterprise applications and desktop-based consumer software.

Prior to joining Wingspan, Martin founded and operated Ethermoon Entertainment, a video game development company. He has held various leadership positions in Philadelphia, Boston, and Silicon Valley. Martin has also published a variety of technical articles and books, and presented at numerous conferences across the country.

Martin Snyder graduated from Cornell University and holds a BS in Computer Science.

Ted O’Connor – Principal Technologist

Ted O'ConnorAs a Principal Technologist for DocWay products, Ted is responsible for managing new/current product development. He brings over 16 years of experience in new product strategy, project management, product development, quality assurance, unit/system testing, implementation, installation, and support.

Prior to joining Wingspan, Ted worked for Ernst & Young as a Senior Consultant. He has also been a part of various projects within the Pharmaceutical, Financial Services, Retail, Energy, Healthcare, Telecommunications, and Publishing industries.

Ted O’Connor graduated from Villanova University and holds a BS in Computer Engineering.

Louis Pasquale – Director of Professional Services

Lou PasqualeAs the Technical Specialist for DocWay products, Louis is responsible for supervising current projects. He brings over 18 years of experience building and delivering enterprise-level systems for collaboration, content and document management, and compliance. Louis’s strengths are in the areas of information architecture, technical infrastructure planning, large scale data migration, organizational planning and development, and project management.

Prior to joining Wingspan, Louis spent 16 years working as a consultant and project manager at First Consulting Group (FCG), Lighthouse Consulting Group, and Science Applications International Corporation (SAIC) serving customers in the Energy, Life Sciences, Telecommunications and Financial Services industries.

Louis Pasquale graduated summa cum laude from Mansfield University and holds a BS in Information Systems.
